The Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens offers 40 hectares of beautifully maintained gardens for visitors to enjoy. Established in 1936, the Gardens began as a school for apprentice gardeners. Its talented students have immaculately maintained the grounds, making this one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in Canada . Visitors are welcome to take self-guided tours of the grounds which include the herb garden, vegetable garden, rock garden and the exquisite rose gardens, which are made up of over 2,300 rose bushes in formal beds. Be sure to visit the large arboretum which houses the gardens impressive ornamental trees and shrub collections.

Floral Clock

One of the most sought after horticultural destinations on the North Parkway is the Floral Clock. Originally built by Ontario Hydro in 1950, this site features a floral design with upwards of 16,000 carpet bedding plants. The design is changed twice each year.

Travel all day for one low price, on Niagara Parks' 30 km (19 mile) loop running from beside the Falls to the Floral Clock.these air-conditioned coaches stop approximately every 20 minutes at all Niagara Parks attractions. You may get on and off different People Mover buses as often as you like for the day for no additional fee. |
